Our Story
From a Florida cabinet shop to a Williamson County family business.
Ben spent 15+ years in Florida cabinet shops and architectural millwork shops. He learned the trade the way it used to be learned, from people who'd been doing it for forty years and didn't suffer shortcuts.
He and Brianna started BMD in 2015. They moved to Middle Tennessee in 2018, and the market caught up fast.
As the area grew, so did the demand for custom work. Ben saw homeowners who wanted something better than stock cabinets but weren't looking for a full-scale renovation. BMD was built to fill that gap: custom, built-to-fit cabinetry that transforms a space without turning a home into a construction site.

Brianna has been part of BMD since day one. When Ben started the business, she was there helping make it possible while raising a young family and building a life together.
While Ben handles the day-to-day operations, design meetings, and project management, Brianna has helped shape the business every step of the way. She helps guide the business behind the scenes, supports the client experience, and keeps the bigger picture in focus.
Together, they've built BMD around craftsmanship, honesty, and treating clients the way they'd want their own family treated. It's not just a woodworking business—it's something they've built together.
